Malted North is a beer, beer-culture, pub-culture and brewing podcast originating out of Yoerg Brewing Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. Yoerg Brewing was founded in 1848 as Minnesota’s first commercial brewery and was reborn in 2016. On Malted North, we’ll talk to brewers and others in the Twin Cities and Minnesota independent beer industry about all things beer and brewing.

Host Barry Madore is joined by Malted North co-founders – Yoerg Brewer, Brennan McKeag, and University of St. Thomas professor (and home brewer extraordinare), Jason Pattit, to talk about all things Oktoberest – history, locations, beer styles, etc. As has become our tradition, we start off with a round of "what are we drinking" and end by highlighting music by local musicians who are dear friends of Yoerg – this month we feature music by the band Mystery Shot.
